High School Day at Irving Middle School

On Friday morning, November 10, 2017, students from Proviso East, Proviso West, and PMSA roamed the classrooms at Irving Middle School for High School Day. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders were able to ask questions to the visitors about what they need to do now to prepare for high school in the near future. Some questions that were asked included:

  • What does it take to be successful in high school?
  • What are credits and how do I earn them?
  • What types of classes are available in high school?
  • What types of extracurricular activities are available in high school?

Our Irving Tigers loved having the chance to connect with older students and to learn about the transition from middle school to high school.
