Our basic units of study are as follows: ELA (Pearson), Math (ConnectEd Math), Social Studies and Science (STEMScopes). Our educational program, while focusing on the individual child, emphasizes the critical relationship among these areas of study. We’ve set clearly defined student outcomes and expectations for Response to Intervention (RtI) Compass Learning. Compass Learning is a computer based reading intervention tool to increase student’s fluency and comprehension in ELA and Math. Irving’s scholars also participate in Physical Education, Health, S.T.E.M, Music, Global Awareness, Drama and Art on a weekly basis.
